Fired for wearing the wrong clothing
NBC Miami reports of very off case of workers being laid off in a local law firm, due due wearing the same colored shirts in the office. The law firm has still yet to comment on the incident, but it seems that the executives of the law firm felt that the wearing of the shirts was a silent protest.
What in the right mind were they thinking? The executives, I mean… It turns out the employees wanted to go for some after work happy hour drinks and choose the color orange to wear. That way, they could easily sport the co workers in the crowd. A few things we can learn from this:
- Hopefully the employees can sue the heck out of the law firm and get major settlements.
- You never have a safe job. You could be fired tomorrow, or later today.m You need to have an emergency fund to cover your expenses in case you become ill and can’t work, or you get laid off.
